Coming Home

 

She hates to leave because it eventually means she has to come home. Coming home is reliving the loss over and over again, another painful reminder she is coming home to an empty house without him. 

She hates he isn't there to share with him a funny story or her latest accomplishment with training, she misses just walking in to see his smiling face or hear him snoring because he is taking another nap. 

The emptiness, the silence is deafening to her.
